The company was founded in 1999 by four university students, but with the acquisition of Multi-Data in 2008, espell's history actually dates back to 1982. espell is currently one of the largest language services companies in Central Europe, with a turnover of more than 2 million Euros in 2022.

We are a premium language services provider. Our clients are large international corporations, mature translation buyers who expect higher quality translations than are generally available on the market. As a multilingual language services company, we work with 200-250 language combinations every year. In line with customer needs and the evolution of our industry, espell is now more of a multilingual communication services provider than a traditional translation agency. In addition to translation, we also provide high value-added localization services, including creative copywriting, multilingual quality assurance, subtitling, voice-over and SEO services.
